ERASMUS+ for Academic Staff

  • contributes to the further internationalisation of higher education institutions by supporting short term teaching assignments (STA) and training stays for teaching and administrative staff (STT).
  • funds guest lectures at European partner universities that hold a valid ERASMUS+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). Visiting lecturers are expected to strengthen the European dimension of the host institution, complement its teaching offer, and share their expertise with students who do not wish to study abroad or are unable to do so.
  • enables higher education staff to take part in further training and professional development activities in EU Programme Countries to support internationalisation.

In addition, universities may invite staff from enterprises abroad to give lectures in their faculties as part of incoming mobility. Interested faculties may contact the International Office at HAWK concerning the invitation process and financial support.
