International experience is always a valuable asset — and there are plenty of reasons why. In a growing Europe, and especially when applying to globally operating companies, such experience can make a real difference. Few high-tech companies can afford to stay within national borders when it comes to acquiring clients or forming international partnerships. As a future graduate, you should be prepared — with strong language skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new cultures and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Even beyond the economic benefits, there are many good reasons to spend time abroad during your studies. A semester abroad, for instance, can greatly enrich your personal development by broadening your horizons, offering insights into different working styles, and helping you build friendships and networks across borders

Funding Opportunities

To support student exchange, a wide range of funding options is available for longer stays abroad. More detailed information is provided at regular info sessions. For specific questions, the International Office at our university is always happy to help.

The Faculty of Engineering and Health Sciences maintains strong connections with a variety of globally operating companies, universities, and institutions. Many of our students have already made active use of these partnerships and funding opportunities.
