Language courses for staff

HAWK Tandem Programme

What’s the best way to learn a language? Exactly! By speaking it! And even better together with others – then it’s really fun! But how does it work? It’s simple: take part in the HAWK Tandem Programme for staff and students!

The tandem principle: two people with different mother tongues support each other in using the other’s language.

 

Open conversation groups in English and Spanish

The Language Center, in cooperation with the International Office, offers language courses for HAWK staff: an open conversation group in English and one in Spanish. Both take place online during lunchtime, making participation possible for everyone during working hours. Each of the 15 sessions lasts 45 minutes and can be adapted to the participants’ needs and interests.

German language courses for international staff

For anyone whose mother tongue is not German, HAWK offers language courses tailored to the individual needs of the participants.

Please enquire at the Language Centre.

 

Work abroad (e.g. Erasmus+ Staff Exchange)

Through the EU programme "Erasmus+", HAWK staff can take part in training and courses in EU countries participating in the programme.
