“In the Master's programme in Real Estate Management, we prepare you for specialisations and management tasks with current topics and practical projects in an international environment.”
Prof. Dr. Sen. h.c. Susanne Ertle-Straub

What is this study programme all about?

This study programme deals with the combination of business, technology and law in relation to real estate. The contents of the sub-disciplines are just as varied as the skills that will be expected of you later. They consist of three fields:

  • Business: International real estate valuation and consulting, management, real estate finance and investments, international real estate markets, controlling and international accounting
  • Technology: Construction calculation and controlling, Green Building
  • Law: Legal issues in real estate project development and real estate portfolio management

You also decide on one of these areas of specialisation: real estate valuation, real estate project development, real estate portfolio and risk management or real estate corporate finance.

What can I do with it later?

With this degree, you will be qualified to take on management tasks in numerous different companies in the real estate industry. These include property developers and developers, banks, insurance companies, real estate funds and housing companies. Your responsibilities range from real estate research and analysis, real estate project development and management, real estate marketing and sales to property, asset and portfolio management, real estate valuation, financing and investment. Thanks to the many international courses and courses in English, you will also be well prepared for the international job market.

What makes this study programme special?

The special features of the programme include its high degree of interdisciplinarity and internationality, its strong practical relevance and intensive supervision. The accreditation of the programme by the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is also an advantage for the students, who can establish important contacts in a worldwide, recognised industry network during their studies.
