You have enrolled as a student and have already achieved a great deal - congratulations! Now the goal is to successfully complete your degree. Getting started can be particularly challenging. But don’t worry - we’re here for you!
We recommend that all students whose first language is not German take part in the Studienstart plus programme. This provides more time at the start of your course, spreading the content of the first 2 semesters over 3 or 4 semesters.

Academic achievements, internships and work experience that you have gained abroad or at another university will in many cases be recognised in the context of your studies at HAWK. Credits are normally awarded after enrolment as part of an individualised process.
