What can I do with it later?

As an academically trained restorer, you will qualify for special areas of conservation and restoration practice as well as for management functions, including preparation for the higher administrative service.

You can take on interdisciplinary organisational tasks, i.e. leading workshops, developing and implementing conservation concepts, developing questions for material science, natural science, historical studies and ethical requirements and interpreting the results, coordinating the various preventive conservation measures and assuming leading tasks in an institution's conservation management portfolio.

What makes this study programme special?

The very good possibility of your own specialisation in the field of conservation and restoration thanks to the various options and offers of minors as well as being prepared to carry out management tasks.
