The HAWK has significantly increased its research activities in recent years, doubled its third-party funding and acquired important research projects.
With its research, the HAWK makes valuable contributions to the development of innovation for business and society. With three research focal points as shown on the research map of the German Rectors' Conference as well as other active research groups, the HAWK conducts forward-looking, application- and demand-oriented research at the highest level. In co-operation with universities, it supervises a disproportionately large number of doctorates.
